HR Generalist / HRBP

Background information

The current HR team consists of the HR Manager, 3 HR Generalists and a Work Force Administrator. Last five years, HR within the company has been undergoing a change process of outsourcing payroll activities and the introduction of a new Global HR system (Workday). Besides these activities across the 5 legal entities in the Netherlands, harmonization of processes, practices and policies have been high on the agenda next to making our internal processes more efficient and effective on which we continue to work. Next to all improvements made in the internal organization, continued focus for the next years is to increase the added value to their businesses and further development and strenghtening of the HR function.

The company is with immediate effect looking for an HR Generalist/HRBP based in Leiden, The Netherlands. The HR Generalist /HRBP will be responsible for providing a professional Human Resources advice, service and added value to a defined set of divisions and functions within the Netherlands.

Professional experience:

  • You have a (Higher Business Education / University level) degree in HRM or another relevant study.
  • A minimum of 4-6 year relevant General HR business partner experience in a comparable role and the ability to navigate in a highly matrixed organization within a very fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrable experience within a project management environment in organizational changes, Performance Management, Talent Development and Works Council cooperation.
  • Experience with international employment and mobility is an advantage.

  • Fluent English language skills, both in speaking and writing. Your native language is Dutch (other languages would be a plus).
  • Willingness to travel to the different locations within the Netherlands.
  • Full time available (part-time negotiable).
